Nissan Primera one thousand nine hundred and ninety seven – review of the owner.

Eh, well, I guess I’ll just start.. Good day (evening) to all car owners! For a long time wanted to write their own review in drom, but that all the time was not enough.. Or the desire. Yeah, well, this is my first review so do not judge severely 🙂 I am 20 four years old, living abroad for permanent residence, but in spite of this each year I fly to Russia to the Far East, to visit my mother and sisters, well, and at the same time with their own motherland to communicate.. In possession of has already had two of their own cars, 3rd has already ordered here to the new year will take away.. In general, here (in Germany) at least a dribble of cars, and various auto representatives, including Japanese.. At first, when I came here (7 years ago), I was astonished with local BMW and Audi.. But over time, when I began to earn money myself, I had the opportunity and desire to buy my own car, previously drove my father’s Audi A4. After a long search and inspections I came to the conclusion that my heart belongs to the Japs all the same.. Since my adolescence I remember cars in Ussuriysk and its environs always seemed so reliable and beautiful. So my choice was Nissan Primera P11, one thousand nine hundred and ninety seven years, stick-powered, one thousand 600 cc. and ninety-nine stallions. When I saw it in person, I was so fucking amazed.. Beautiful motherfucker.. It didn’t knock much in the front, but that didn’t bother me.. The stuff in the front is the el… Windows, remote control, central locking, hydration, Abs, air conditioning and so on minor things.. The motor was 189,000, a lot of well it worked very confidently and “let” the primo forward.. Of the advantages were also tinted (up to the limit) glass, and front and rear moldings.. Let’s go. Changed the oil, bought winter tires, and let’s “give out oats.. Went with my ex-girlfriend to Austria (900 km from my town), without any worries. There I hooked snow chains to go uphill.. When I went down later, the brakes and the wheels got so hot, it was like “hot flames.”.. I took the chains off and got used to steering without them.. A year of Primka had to change: brake pads (when buying did not look that they were worn out), both knuckles, bearings, including a sharp pulling on the asphalt broke the left drive shaft (in the mouth blin, and initially did not understand what’s what, later cops local drove up and helped to cause a tow truck, shaft changed myself with my dad, in the winter and snow)

Well, that’s all in general, of the pluses I can note:

low gas mileage, about 8-9 in the city and 7.5 on the highway. But if you push the button up to 200 on the Autobahn, it’s 11. very good road holding though not as heavy soundproofing thing is easy to find parts, mostly cheap option, which hold up to the quality of not worse than the native capacity and roomy.

Of the minuses only that the chassis is not completely reliable, when buying a need to inspect the cam swivel, CV joints and everything else..

I sold the car after a year of use because I wanted something much smaller and sportier. I bought a Tselka, a bug-eyed one.. I’ll write another article. And in general, I will say that the Japs from the 90’s are the most reliable, and all my trace. Cars will only be Japs. Good luck on the roads, and a Happy New Year, my fellow countrymen!
