Its leader, who was named by supporters as “Namu Dargil”, was involved in a protest against the construction of the dam that will power the tiny Nairobi-based business and development conglomerate.
The Dargil movement has targeted the dam, which is in the west of the country along the river Doma, a critical supply of milk needed to feed farmers.

A separate dam, under construction in Khirbet Al-Noor, also aims to cut the flow of water to the neighbouring north-west country of Kenya because of rising water levels and drought conditions that are believed to worsen.
Critics of the Dargil campaign say the massive decision in August to build the dam shows politicians of that side were unaware their local party were facing a potentially catastrophic situation.
The Nairobi-based company claims its main goal was to protect its operations in Kenya’s north, but the opposition Nairobi Now movement said
